The Lord Botetourt girls will be the top seed in the Blue Ridge District soccer tournament when semifinals are held at the top two seeds Friday.
LB is undefeated in the district and will host the fourth seeded Northside on Friday in Daleville at 5:30 p.m. The championship game will be Saturday at Franklin County High at noon.
Last week LB finished out the district regular season with wins over Franklin County and Staunton River. The Cavs took a 3-1 win in Rocky Mount as Ally Spangler, Emma Rice and Falan Peters scored. Spangler, Allison Kirby and Kaleigh Horan had assists.
They then wrapped up the regular season with a 6-1 win over Staunton River in Moneta. Spangler had a three-goal hat trick in this one and Horan, Rice and Ava Brumfield also found the net. Horan had two assists and Rice, Spangler, Autumn Estrada and Cadence Peters had one each.
On Monday LB wrapped up the regular season with a 9-0 win over William Fleming. That gave the girls a 10-0 district record and a 14-2 overall mark.
