More than 50 breweries, wineries and cideries will be sampling and selling their creations Saturday during the Virginia Beer & Wine Festival (VBWF) at Daleville Town Center.
The annual event has attracted more than 40 breweries and a dozen wineries and cideries— many local and others from all over the state.
The festival runs from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at the DTC Pavilion where there will be food, music and activities for the kids available.
VBWF standard tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate and include a 5-ounce sampling glass and up to 20 samples of your choice.
There’s a new VIP area this year, sponsored by Blue Ridge Beverage. VIP tickets are limited to 50 individuals and $75 and are only available online. VIP includes unlimited craft beer and wine samples, a private covered sitting/eating area, exclusive beers on tap, free food, a VBWF stainless steel pint and other VIP perks.
Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.vabeerandwinefestival.com or at the Town Center Tap House at DTC, Tizzone Wood-Fired Kitchen & Wine Bar at DTC and Bank of Botetourt branches in Botetourt, Roanoke and Salem.
Music will be provided by Empty Bottles, the opening act, and Riverbank Ramblers.
Food will be available from Fast Burger and Twisted Tail BBQ.
Visitors should bring a chair. No coolers or outside food are allowed.
