Beverly Colley Mullins, 97, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Beverly (Bev) began his banking career with First National Exchange Bank (Wells Fargo today) retiring as Vice President and Trust Officer in 1982. Bev was a graduate of Berea College, BS, and Indiana University where he received his MBA. Bev was a World War II Navy Veteran, proudly serving his country. Bev was active in numerous civic organizations during his lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Butler and Pearl Colley Mullins; his former wife, Virginia G. Mullins; and six brothers and sisters.

Beverly is survived by his wife of 42 years, Josephine (Jodi) Metts Mullins; two daughters and three sons, Robert Butler Mullins, Ellen Virginia Presley (Jerry), Fred Bev Mullins (Robin), Gordon P. Martin (Linda), Angela M. Hayth (Lyn); six grandchildren, Jennifer Presley, Stephen Presley (Barbara), Spencer Mullins (Brittany), Colton Mullins, Mary Katherine Stahl (Trevor), Dylan L. Hayth; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene Mullins, Don Raines and Jerry Raines; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Bev’s wishes, a Celebration of His Life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution, please consider Feeding Southwest Virginia.

From this valley they say you are going

We will miss your bright eyes and sweet smile

For they say you are taking the sunshine

Which has brightened our pathway a while
