Mary Ann Garrison Myers, 74, of Troutville, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
She will be missed by her children, Richard and Lisa Russell, Sean and Sonya Russell, Jackie and Terry Nelson, and Amie and Kevin Tolley; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her precious pets, Nippy, Cotton, Nugget, Willie, Luna, and Charlotte; sister-in-law, Sharon Garrison; brother, Tad and Margaret Garrison; brother, Doug Garrison, and sister-in-law and best friend, Margaret Garrison; multiple nieces and nephews, as well as many close family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wayne Myers; parents, John and Mary Garrison of Clifton Forge; brothers, John Garrison of Williamsburg, Michael Garrison of Buchanan, and sister-in-law Roberta Garrison of Eagle Rock.
Private services were held at Wheatland Lutheran Church, and the service officiated by Pastor Chuck Miller.
The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Jackie Nelson, Abigail Dooley, Melissa Atkinson, and Mary Tolley, along with Pastor Chuck Miller, the Good Samaritan Hospice Staff, and doctors at Lewis-Gale Medical Center.
