Welcome to an enchanted kingdom where all your favorite fairy tale characters have come to retell their stories in fun and unique ways and– nope! Scratch that, we’re not doin’ that! We’ve all heard these stories a bazillion times, and Ella” ain’t havin’ it.” See, Ella’s a woman of a certain age who has bulldozed her way into this fairy tale world. And she’s got a bone to pick. She’s tired of the false promises of “happily ever after” that never come true in the real world. Ella’s not retelling these stories – she’s just writing what happens AFTER the endings, where reality collides with fairy tales in very messy ways. Now, a middle-aged Cinderella and the entire kingdom are rocked as these aging ingénues and neurotic princes try to deal with life after that perfect moment. Part farce, part vaudeville, part SNL, a little Rocky Horror and a totally wild ride that no one ever imagined after “happily ever after.”
