
Debbie Jarrell of Roanoke presented her piano students in a recital on Thursday, March 19, at Woodland Church. The program, titled “Salute to the USA,” honored the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding.
Students performed a variety of selections, including songs representing branches of the military, patriotic pieces, and compositions highlighting different states. Family members and friends attended the event in support of the performers.
The students were: first row, Jordan Cotton, Wes Burke, Finn Ludwinski, Indigo Carter, Emmie Cotton; second row, Nikolai Pavelka, Julia Steryous, Clayton Messer, Averi Alderman, Andjenica Rich, Zane Burke; third row, Afton Patrick, Amelia Floyd, Carly Messer, Ava Mullins, Dublin Quillen, Layn Burke, Raelyn Farnsworth; fourth row, Terri Frantz, Morgan Gartland, Adrienne Farnsworth, Miles Patrick, Samuel Viesca, Caroline Pavelka, and Kelly Swartz.
