Friends of Greenfield Preston Plantation (FGPP) will meet Thursday, May 18 at 7 p.m. in the Fincastle Firehouse in Fincastle.

FGPP will be presenting medals to contributors who have helped process and catalog the artifacts uncovered during last year’s archaeological dig at the plantation manor house site and where two historic buildings were located before being moved.

Rupert Cutler also will be giving a short presentation on the Preston family.

The public is invited.
