The Historic Fincastle Fall Festival Quilt Show will be found inside the sanctuary of the Old Fincastle Baptist Church on the corner of Main Street and Church Street. Although the church is a private home, the owners have allowed the sanctuary to be used to showcase quilts displayed on the pews and hanging on racks during the show. This church building has beautiful stained glass windows that can only really be appreciated from inside the sanctuary. The combination of colorful quilts and gorgeous stained glass windows is not to be missed.

The show is Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no admission fee.

Anyone interested in displaying a quilt or quilts may look on the hisfin.org website and look for Quilt Show. The registration form and all information can be found there for printing convenience. Quilts will be accepted at the church on Friday, September 26 from 5-7 p.m. and may be collected after 4 p.m. on Saturday after the show is closed. Viewers Choice ballots will be collected and ribbons will be awarded for the first, second and third place quilts, with the first place quilt receiving a gift basket prize.

Visitors to the Fincastle Festival are encouraged to take a few minutes and walk inside the church, view a beautiful display of colorful quilts and stained glass and vote for their favorite quilt.
