Buchanan celebrated the restoration of the neon sign on Ransone’s Drugs during Third Fridays Block Party in July. Building owner Gary Belt had Eddie Edwards Sign of Harrisonburg restore the neon sign, then return it to its position of prominence on the historic drug store. Town officials held a ribbon cutting to celebrate.
