The Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association season has been cancelled but Read Mountain Swim Club in Botetourt County will be offering practices and lessons for interested swimmers.

The club will have four practices a week beginning June 21 and lasting four weeks until July 15. On Sunday and Tuesday evenings 10 and under swimmers can practice from 8-8:30 pm and 11 and up from 8:40 to 9:20 pm. On Monday and Wednesday mornings 10 and under will go from 8-8:30 am and 11 and up from 8:40 to 9:20 am. If there are fewer than 12 people per group, either in the morning or evening sessions, the sessions will be combined.

Fees will be $50 for members for the four week period or $90 for non-members for either the morning or evening sessions. If space permits, members can swim both sessions for $100 for the four weeks, or non-members for $140.

Lessons are $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Lessons will follow competitive swim training on Monday and Wednesday mornings, beginning June 22 and ending July 15.
