The Botetourt Retired Educators will meet on Monday, Nov. 14, at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 11475 Lee Highway, Fincastle. Registration for the meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 11 a.m. Membership is open to all Botetourt County retired educators and to retired educators from other school divisions living in the county. Dues are $35 and may be paid at any meeting. Lunch will be provided by the women of the church at a cost of $16.
The program for the meeting will be a presentation by Jim DuBrueler, the Agent of Record for the Virginia Retired Teachers Association Benefits. He will discuss the many options that are available to members of the VRTA. Nonperishable items for the Botetourt Food Pantry will be collected. Contributions for the Scholarship Fund and the Book Fund may be made at all meetings.
