Hiawatha Nicely of Daleville was the overall winner of the Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour’s tournament on July 30 at Blacksburg Country Club in Blacksburg.

Playing in Division 3, (handicaps over 20), Nicely recorded a net score of 61. Other Division 3 winners were:  2nd, Steve Anderson – 62; 3rd, Dave Whetzel – 64; 4th, Rich Gezymalla – 65; 5th, Mike Sims – 66.

In Division 1 (handicaps 0 to 14), Robert Stanley of North Roanoke County carded a net score of 62 for 1st place.  Other Division 1 winners were: 2nd, Craig Hill – 62; 3rd, Doug Spencer – 64; 4th, Andy Price – 64; 5th, Gary Kuhfeldt – 65.

Playing in Division 2 (handicaps 15 to 20), Jack Sale of Southwest Roanoke County finished in 1st Place with a net score of 62.  Other Division 2 winners were: 2nd, Frank Lang – 64; 3rd, Henry Williams – 64; 4th, Dallas Helems – 64; 5th, Joe Surkamer – 65.

The Low Gross Medalist score of 70 went  to Craig Hill of Blacksburg.
