Botetourt County
Find out about a project to replace a drainage culvert
on Route 621 (Roaring Run Road) in Botetourt
County. The culvert is over Roaring Run Creek and is
located 2.55 miles from the Allegany County line and
0.55 mile from Route 615 (Craigs Creek Road).
Review the project information and the National
Environmental Policy Act document in the form of a
Programmatic Categorical Exclusion at VDOT’s
Salem District Office located at 731 Harrison Avenue
in Salem, 540-387-5353, 800-367-7623, TTY/TDD
711. Please call ahead to ensure the availability of
appropriate personnel to answer your questions.
If your concerns cannot be satisfied, VDOT is willing
to hold a public hearing. You may request that a
public hearing be held by sending a written request to
Jack Bayne, Virginia Department of Transportation,
731 Harrison Avenue, Salem, VA 24153 on or prior to
November 16, 2023. If a request for a public hearing
is received, notice of date, time and place of the
hearing will be posted.
