By Heather Fay, Botetourt Advisor and Regional Program Director, Roanoke Regional Small Business Development Center

Did you know that the Roanoke Regional Small Business Development Center (RRSBDC) works with entrepreneurs in all phases of their business from idea to exiting? Whether you have an idea and haven’t started your business or are on the road to recovery from COVID-19, my colleagues and I are small business champions and believe the heart of our communities and economy comes from your contagious entrepreneurial spirit.

Some of the top questions we are asked are:

How do I set up my business?

What funding is available for my business?

How do I market my business once I get started?

Being a business owner can be a lonely place, and we are here to support you on your entrepreneurial journey.

If we haven’t connected yet, my colleagues and I look forward to meeting you through a virtual or in person advising session, or by attending one of our upcoming workshops.

With the support of the Small Business Association, Botetourt County, and sponsors, we can offer free confidential advising and low-cost workshops. To learn more about the RRSBDC, make an appointment or register for an event go to www.roanokesmallbusiness.org, or follow us on social media @rrsbdc, contact our team by email hello@roanokesmallbusiness.org or by phone, 540-632-1174.

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and Botetourt County.
