Sheetz, one of America’s fastest-growing family-owned and operated convenience retailers for more than 65 years, has announced the upcoming opening of its new store in Daleville. The grand opening event is scheduled for next Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at its new store located at 1725 Roanoke Road in Daleville.
To celebrate its arrival into the community, Sheetz is making a special $2,500 donation to the Botetourt County Public Schools Education Foundation. Representatives from the school district will be present at the grand opening event to accept the donation.
This new location will welcome customers by offering free self-serve coffee and soda for a limited time and will continue to offer Sheetz’s Made-to-Order (MTO®) menu on its unique touch-screen order terminals where you will be able to order any of Sheetz’s customized specialty drink or food items around the clock.
The grand opening festivities will begin at 9 a.m. with multiple prizes awarded, including the giveaway of a $1,000 Sheetz gift card. No purchase is necessary to win. A Sheetz family member will be present for the official grand opening ceremony, set for 10:45 a.m., just before the store’s official opening at 11 a.m.
Sheetz said that it is committed to supporting the local communities it serves. Sheetz will donate $2,500 to Feeding America Southwest Virginia (FASWVA), an organization that provides food insecure individuals and families in 26 counties and associated municipalities that make up Southwest Virginia, with the tools they need to survive and thrive. Customers attending the grand opening are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to FASWVA. Participants will receive a Sheetz branded thermal bag, limit one per customer while supplies last from 9-11 a.m. Through local and national food-assistance programs, Sheetz is able to help people in the local communities they serve who struggle with hunger.
During the store’s grand opening ceremony, Sheetz will also donate $2,500 to Special Olympics Virginia. As a proud supporter of Special Olympics for over 20 years, Sheetz extends its support through financial contributions, product donations and event volunteers.
Sheetz currently operates 592 store locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with all locations open 24/7, 365 days a year.
