Six LBHS seniors will play in college this fall


Six Lord Botetourt High School seniors recently announced their intentions to play sports in college this fall. The six were surrounded by family and coaches with an auditorium full of teammates for a signing ceremony March 1 at the school. From left, seated, are Alexis Heck who will remain a Cavalier playing soccer at Montreat College in North Carolina; Hannah Leonard who will also play soccer at Montreat College; Jasmine King who will play basketball at Randolph College in Lynchburg; Jordan Brake who will play baseball at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg; Garrison Mayo who will play football at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, and JT Turner who will play football at Concord University in Athens, W.Va.
