It has been two years in the planning but, after numerous volunteer hours and with some very generous donations, the parking lot at Solomon’s Mission in Buchanan will soon be open for use by its customers.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on March 18 at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be provided afterwards the ceremony. The general public is invited as well as the numerous parking lot volunteers who have worked so hard to make this event happen.
Solomon’s Mission would like to express its thanks for the generous donations provided by BB&T, Kathy Harris, Lawrence Transfer, Steve and Kathy Barbour, Orvis. Aaron’s Smokehouse, Ransone’s Drug, Roanoke Cement, and the Fincastle Knights of Columbus. It would also like to express its gratitude to the many customers whose patronage at Solomon’s Mission has contributed greatly to the parking lot completion.
