The Bank of Fincastle’ Healthy Living Initiative presented a contribution to the Springwood Baptist Food Pantry in April.

The food pantry is open the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 10 a.m. until noon. Those who need assistance with food are invited to stop by. Thanks to generous donations from the bank and the community, the food pantry is able to occasionally provide household items, school supplies, turkeys and stocking stuffers at the holidays. Pictured here in the front row are volunteers Shelby Gore, Jeanne Peery, Shirley Stinnett, Joyce Thrasher with Cindy Bailey from The Bank of Fincastle. On the back row are Sloan Kuykendall, Don Barger, Linda Johnson, Bobby Aaron and Jerry Wilcher. The Bank of Fincastle presents contributions each month to groups who focus on feeding those in need, healthy eating, exercise or education. To nominate an organization, email the group’s mission to ahealthierbank@bankoffincastle.com.
