The first Party in the Pavilion kicks off this Thursday, May 4 when Superhold performs at  the Daleville Town Center pavilion.

That concert is from 5-9 p.m. The Party at the Pavilion concerts will be twice monthly, generally on the first and third Thursdays of the month.

That’s followed by Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 6 from 1-4 p.m. with music by Rare Form and a host of family acitivities.

Party at the Pavilion and Cinco de Mayo are produced by the non-profit Daleville Institute.

The music continues next Friday, May 12 when Flat Pickin’ Fridays concerts return with Seven Mile Ford. It’s produced by Big Lick Entertainment. Those are monthly concerts through September.

Admission to the Party at the Pavilion and Cinco de Mayo will be $5 with 12 and under free.

There will be a Kids Zone at all of the Party at the Pavilion concerts with activities for the youngsters.

This is a family-friendly event to benefit the Daleville Institute Inc. a 501(c)3 with a mission of supporting a vital cultural life in the Botetourt community.

Visitors should bring blankets, lawn chairs and the kids.

Because the weather forecast for Thursday and Saturday include high probabilities of rain, Daleville Institute recomends that visitors check the Facebook pages for Party at the Pavilion, Cinco da Mayo or Daleville Town Center for any schedule changes.
