The popular Beach Music group The Tams will perform at Party at the Pavilion this Thursday, May 18 at Daleville Town Center (DTC). The non-profit Daleville Institute produces the event in cooperation with DTC and the Bank of Botetourt. Admission is $5 per person. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert closes at 9 p.m. There will be a Kids Zone at all of the Party at the Pavilion concerts with activities for the youngsters. This is a family-friendly event to benefit the Daleville Institute Inc. a 501(c)3 with a mission of supporting a vital cultural life in the Botetourt community. Visitors should bring blankets, lawn chairs and the kids. Rain has played havoc with other concerts at the DTC this spring, but the early forecast for Thursday looks promising. Party at the Pavilion concerts are the first and third Thursdays at the DTC Pavilion through September 21. The next concert is Thursday, June 1 with Jimmy Wilson “Willie Nelson Tribute” with Cimmaron.
