It’s spring break for Botetourt County schools and there is a limited schedule of activities this week.

On Thursday, James River will have two events, a girls soccer game at home against Eastern Montgomery and a softball game at Craig County. On Friday, the Knights will host Staunton River in baseball, while the boys soccer team is at Auburn. River’s track team is scheduled to head to Lynchburg for a meet at E.C. Glass on Saturday.

Next week things pick up again. On Monday, the Lord Botetourt soccer team is at William Fleming, while the River baseball team goes to Rockbridge. On Tuesday, LB’s tennis girls are at E.C. Glass and the softball team will host James River in the only meeting of the county schools this season. River’s soccer teams will play Carroll County, with the boys at home and the girls in Hillsville.

On Wednesday, April 6, the LB track team will debut with a meet at Staunton River. Both baseball teams are also in action that day, with Lord Botetourt hosting Brookville and James River playing at William Fleming.
