The Lord Botetourt tennis teams took on William Byrd last Friday and swept the Terriers. The boys won 7-2 in Vinton and the girls took a 6-3 win at Hollins University.
The boys come into the week at 6-0 in the district and 8-4 overall. They were scheduled to host Northside on Tuesday and Friday they go to Fleming. Number one Tyler Meade has lost just one match all season.
The girls are 5-1 in the district and 5-6 overall prior to Tuesday’s match at Walrond Park against Northside. They play Fleming at Hollins University Friday.
