The Lord Botetourt tennis teams were rained out of matches with Northside on Monday, and both were rescheduled for today, Wednesday. The girls are home at Hollins University and the boys will be at Walrond Park to take on the Vikings.

Both teams got in one match last week, against Rockbridge. The girls lost 7-2 to the Wildcats and the boys lost 6-3 in a match that was closer than the score indicates.

“We had seven tie-breakers throughout the match,” said coach Peter Walton. “Each individual match was very close. It all came down to doubles.”

The boys are at Hidden Valley on Thursday, while the girls will host the Titans at Hollins.  On Monday, both teams play Fleming, with the girls at home and the boys at Fleming.
