On behalf of our James River High School Boys’ Basketball program, we would like to express how appreciative we are of the wonderful support our community has shown us over the past few months of the season. To have the support of so many people has been a blessing we all will cherish going forward.

There are dozens of people that contributed to the success of our season. As with any season, it was an exciting and wild ride. Our players and coaches will not forget playing in front of the masses of black and red. Whether that was four hours away in Big Stone Gap, down the road at Roanoke College, or at home in Springwood, your unwavering support is dearly valued.

The difference the energy from the fans makes in the atmosphere of a game does not go unnoticed, and we are extremely grateful to everyone giving up their time to watch us play a simple game. One of our program’s goals was to inspire a new generation of players that are coming up and make the community proud and eager to check out the next game. As a coaching staff, we can say our players did everything in their power to make that happen. Our program would like to thank the community for contributing to an unforgettable experience with the utmost gratitude.

With thanks and appreciation,

JRHS Boys’ Basketball Staff
