The Worx, Fuzzy Logic kick off  Sidewinders Concert Series Saturday;

Party at the Pavilion opens May 4  at Daleville Town Center, with Cinco de Mayo festival on May 6

The Sidewinders Summer Concerts Series kicks off the 2017 entertainment schedule at the Daleville Town Center Pavilion this weekend.

The Worx and Fuzzy Logic will take the stage for the 5-9 p.m. show this Saturday, April 29.

The music continues next Thursday, May 4 when Superhold performs in the first Party at the Pavilion Thursday evening concert. That’s also from 5-9 p.m. The Party at the Pavilion concerts will be twice monthly, generally on the first and third Thursdays of the month.

Then it’s Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 6 from 1-4 p.m. with Music by Rare Form and a host of family acitivities.

The monthly (except May) Sidewinders Summer Concert Series, Party at the Pavilion and Cinco de Mayo are produced by the non-profit Daleville Institute, while the Flat Pickin’ Fridays concerts that return Friday, May 12 with Seven Mile Ford are produced by Big Lick Entertainment. Those are monthly concerts through September.

Admission to Saturday’s Sidewinders concert is $7 and adult beverages and food will be for sale. Children 12 and under are free.

Admission to the Party at the Pavilion and Cinco de Mayo will be $5 with 12 and under free.

There will be a Kids Zone at all of the Party at the Pavilion and Sidewinders concerts with activities for the youngsters.

This is a family-friendly event to benefit the Daleville Institute Inc. a 501(c)3 with a mission of supporting a vital cultural life in the Botetourt community.

Visitors should bring blankets, lawn chairs and the kids.
