A “Trout Rodeo” to benefit Mike Sensabaugh to help with medical bills will be held Saturday, July 25, at Thrasher’s Pond, 2304 Cedar Lane, Buchanan. Sensabaugh is an active member of the Moose.
A $25 donation will include: catch up to five trout (they will be cleaned and bagged), and a hot dog meal (with all the fixings) for the whole family. It starts at 10 a.m. with the meal at noon and ends at 3 p.m. Registration will be taken at the gate.
Goody bags will be given out to all kids through age 10. Other activities include wagon rides, face painting, a Chinese auction with loads of prizes, and a gun raffle.
The event is held in memory of Steve Thrasher and organizers thank the Thrasher family for the use of the pond.
