Troutville celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with special surprises

The Town of Troutville will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 17 with 17 special surprises given out by local businesses.

The public is invited to tour the town by following the green balloons that will mark the participating businesses.

Some examples of the 17 surprises given out will be…

  • $17 off first person who walks into Town Hall to pay their water bill
  • $17 off first person who gets an oil change at Troutville Service Center
  • P.O. Boxes that end with a 17 will get a prize at the Troutville Post Office
  • Apple Barn II is giving out beanie babies to every customer
  • TG&G, Bank of Botetourt, The Bank of Fincastle and Cackleberry Ridge will also be giving out prizes that morning.

Refreshments will be served at several locations including shamrock sweets and soda bread at the Sunshine Station.
