The Town of Troutville hosts its annual Trail Days this weekend, May 31 and June 1 at Troutville Town Park. Hikers may enjoy dinner Friday night from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, hikers receive a free breakfast from 8 to 9:30 a.m. followed by the Community Trail Days event from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Camping, showers, bathrooms, meals, gear support, and tubing trips along the James River will be available as well as shuttle services to and from local hotels. Dogs are not permitted inside the park; however, there will be housing for dogs directly next to the park for thru hikers only. For more information, please visit troutvilletraildays.org.
