The Nell R. Landers Scholarship was presented to Noah Thomas James on June 2 at the Troutville Baptist Church morning service.
James, the so of Kevin and Anitra James, graduated from Franklin County High School and is the youth pastor at Troutville Baptist. He plans to attend Virginia Western Community College and major in Sports Marketing/Sports Law.
Nell Landers was an adult Sunday School teacher at Troutville Baptist for many years and was a well-loved teacher at Troutville Elementary School.
