Nickolas Tucker, a 2019 James River High School graduate, recently received $23,000 in scholarships from Roanoke College. The scholarship funds came from the Roanoke College Dean’s Award, the Roanoke College Area Award, and the Roanoke College Commonwealth Award. Tucker is the son of Gene and Cathy Tucker of Fincastle. He will be studying premed in the fall.
