Friends of the Blue Ridge Library will be holding their first used book sale since 2019 at the Blue Ridge Library on Thursday, July 8, 5-8 p.m.; Friday, July 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday, July 10, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
There will be a wide variety of books for sale with most hardcover books priced at $1 each and most paperback books priced at 50 cents each. Proceeds from the book sale will help the Friends support library programs such as the annual summer reading program or to purchase materials that the library needs especially those not covered in the annual operating budget.
The library is now open to in-person service so come to the sale and then look around at all the improvements that happened during the time the doors were closed– new paint, new carpet, murals in the children’s section, remodeling and more.
Blue Ridge Library is located at 28 Avery Row just off US 460 about a half-mile east of the Bonsack Walmart. For directions, call 928-2900.
