Veldman leads Dukes to win, 8-2 overall record

The James Madison University volleyball team completed a weekend sweep with a 3-2 (23-25, 27-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-8) victory Sunday afternoon over the University of Delaware at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Del. The Dukes have now won 10 of their last 12 matches against the Blue Hens.

Miƫtte Veldman, a sophomore from Lord Botetourt High School, secured a double-double with a team-high 17 kills and 11 digs. JMU improves to 8-2 overall and 2-0 in league play, while Delaware falls to 5-6 on the season and 0-2 in CAA play.
