As the skies light up over Fincastle on July 6 for the annual fireworks extravaganza, VFW Post 1841 will be on hand serving classic American fare to fuel the fun. Starting at 6 p.m., the local veterans group will be selling hot dogs for $2, chips for $1, and both soft drinks and bottled water for $1 each.
With plans to serve around 300 community members, the VFW aims to make this a festive and flavorful addition to the evening’s celebration. While dessert options are still being finalized, attendees can expect a warm welcome, great food, and the satisfaction of supporting a local veterans organization.
