Victoria Webb, a student at James River High School, was among eight area teenagers who attended a week of CyberCamp in July at Mountain Gateway Community College in Clifton Forge. The students were introduced to cybersecurity principles, online safety, cyber ethics, virtual machines, cyber threats, and securing various operating systems, such as Linux and Windows. The camp concluded with a competition that challenged the students to secure both a Linux and Windows environment.
