The All-Region 3D sports teams were announced in the past week and Lord Botetourt was well represented.

Botetourt’s Meredith Wells was named first team in softball and was also named the region Pitcher of the Year. Meredith is just a sophomore.

Senior outfielder Hannah Mundy and sophomore first baseman Lauren Hoffman were also named to the first team, All-Region, while sophomores Kenleigh Gunter and Kloe Bacon were named to the second team.

In baseball, seniors Caleb Franklin and Patrick Kepler were named to the first team. Franklin is a second baseman and Kepler was named in the outfield, as well as being chosen to the second team as a pitcher. Senior Drew Bond was second team at shortstop and honorable mention went to Logan Wood behind the plate.

In girls soccer, LB had three first team selections, seniors Heather Finley and Sidney Keyes and junior Abby Whitlock. Named to the second team were seniors Alexis Borovich and Olivia Assenat, sophomore Briana Paivannas and freshman  Briana Myers.

For the boys, seniors Blake Myers, Isaac DeHart and Bryson Sanchez all made the first team as well as junior Zach Durham. Second team honors went to senior Ethan Hogan and junior Trey Rice.
