The high school wrestlers had a weekend off due to inclement weather in Southwest Virginia. Both were hoping to get back in action this week.

Lord Botetourt was scheduled to wrestle Patrick Henry on Tuesday at Ferrum College, but results were too late for publication. The Cavaliers are in the Western Albemarle tournament this weekend.

James River is scheduled to wrestle in a quad at Northside tonight, but at press time coach Bobby Stewart wasn’t sure if the Knights would attend as several members of the team were battling the flu. The Knights are scheduled to wrestle at Rural Retreat on Saturday.
