The Buchanan Lions Club is proud to announce the initiation of five new members at our meeting on Tuesday, September 9th. Joining our dedicated team of volunteers are Derek Veldhuizen, Tim Noszak, Brenda Noszak, Dan Hickey, and Chérie Austin.
The induction ceremony marked an exciting milestone for the Club, as we continue to grow our membership and expand our service efforts in the Buchanan community and beyond. Each new member brings unique talents, perspectives, and enthusiasm that will help strengthen our mission of serving those in need.
Club President and members warmly welcomed the group, emphasizing the vital role Lions play in addressing community needs, ranging from providing eye and ear exams to assisting with hearing aids and glasses, to supporting local initiatives through fundraising events.
“We are thrilled to welcome Derek, Tim, Brenda, Dan, and Cherie into our Lions family,” said a club spokesperson. “Their commitment to service will ensure that we can continue to make a meaningful difference here in Buchanan.”
The Buchanan Lions Club remains committed to its motto, “We Serve,” and invites others in the community who are interested in volunteering, building friendships, and making a positive impact to consider joining.
