October was Farmer Appreciation Month. The Botetourt Museum of History and Culture needs help identifying this antique wooden tool. It was donated years ago along with several farming implements by Explore Park. It measures 23 inches by about 9 inches. All of the wooden sections move independently. The curved pieces might have been attached at the top in the past. It could be part of a larger tool.
The question is: What is it? And what was it used for? If you can help identify this artifact, please call the museum at 540-473-0148 and talk to an employee or leave a message. Thank you for helping to keep history pertinent.
