The Botetourt Town & Country Women’s Club awarded two scholarships this spring at the county high schools.
A $1,000 scholarship was awarded on May 12 to Kaia Binns (left) at James River High School. She plans to attend Bridgewater College and major in Health and Exercise Science to become a physical therapist. Club Co-President Nancy Womack presented the scholarship.
A $1,000 scholarship was awarded on May 15 to Alexis Gurley (right) at Lord Botetourt High School. She plans to attend Roanoke College to major in Elementary ESL. Co-President Diane Taylor presented the scholarship.
