Friends of the Blue Ridge Library are having a used book sale May 18-20. Hours for the sale are: Thursday, May 18, 5-8; Friday, May 19, 10-5; Saturday, May 20, 10-2. Most hardcover books are priced at $1 each and most paperbacks are priced at 50 cents each. Saturday is bag sale day when customers may fill a bag with books for just $3.
The sale will be held at the library at 28 Avery Row just off US 460 about half a mile east of the Bonsack Walmart. All proceeds from the sale are used to support the library including the Summer Learning Challenge and other programs and items that are not included in the library’s budget.
