Toy trains like this metal steam engine, coal tender, and passenger cars are still popular today. The passenger cars have LEHIGH VALLEY RR No. 001 on them. These 1890 toys were used by the son of Lewis and Bettie Shuey Sifford, who lived in the Brugh’s Mill section of Botetourt. Mrs. E.R. Childress donated them to the Botetourt County History Museum.
