From spring until frost, the red, white and blue flowers are attracting a variety of pollinators and conversation along Fincastle’s Main Street in front of the Botetourt County Historical Society Museum. The sign along the iron fence shows the logo of Ikenberry Orchards & Country Store because they generously donated the annuals and vegetables. There are tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and peppers for the public to enjoy along the side of the museum. Some of the tomatoes have already been donated to the Botetourt Food Pantry in Fincastle. The sign also reads that the plants were donated in observation of the Botetourt Museum of History & Culture’s exhibit inside called “Home Grown: Botetourt’s Agricultural History.” Come take a tour.
