The fifth annual Botetourt County Honey Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, at Buchanan Town Park.
Hosted by the Botetourt Beekeepers Association, the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature a celebration of honey, beekeeping, and the county’s beekeeping community.
For those planning to attend the Fincastle Festival that Saturday, the Honey Festival offers another stop to add to the day. Visitors can make the short trip from Fincastle to Buchanan and take in both community events.
Additional details about activities at the Honey Festival have not yet been announced. The association is seeking vendors and volunteers, with information available through the QR code on the festival’s save-the-date announcement.
The event marks the fifth year of the Botetourt Beekeepers Association’s Honey Festival. Organizers are encouraging residents to save the date for what they promise will be “a sweet time.”
