The 65th Annual Buchanan Community Carnival kicks off Thursday evening, June 28 when the gates open at 6:30 p.m. It runs nightly through Saturday, July 7 (except Sunday, July 1, when it is closed)
Visitors can explore the midway where they will find family-oriented games, rides provided by Coles Amusements, and lots of food, including the trademark Carnival Burgers and world famous Carnival Fries, and nightly live music.
There are ride ticket specials some evenings and all-you-can-ride wristbands are available every evening.
Ticket specials include:
- Thursday, June 28 – Opening Night Special provides a family 4-pack of all-you-can ride wristbands for $50 or individual wristbands for $15 per person No coupon required.
- Friday, June 29 & Saturday, June 30— Wristbands are $25 per person No coupon is valid for this special
- Monday, July 2 –Wristbands are $20 per person. No coupon required.
- Tuesday, July 3 & Wednesday, July 4 –Wristbands are $20 per person with coupon or military ID (required). $25 per person without coupon..
- Thursday, July 5 –Wristbands are $15 per person. No coupon required.
- Friday, July 6 & Saturday, July 7 – Wristbands are $25 per person. No coupon valid for this special.

Big Ticket Prizes
Big Ticket Carnival Prize raffle tickets are also available at various businesses in the community and at the Town Hall; and they will be available at the Carnvial Office.
Chances are $1 each (12 for $10) with gift certificates and cash prizes each night of the carnival. The grand prizes are range from $250 cash to the $5,000 grand prize to be given away July 7.
