Second Sunday Dinner – The next Second Sunday Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 11, dine-in or carry out from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. December’s meal includes herb crusted pork loin, roasted red potatoes, mixed vegetables, dinner roll and dessert for $12. Proceeds help preserve the Historic Wilson Warehouse. Place reservations by 12 noon on Saturday, Dec. 10, by calling 540-580-8944 or text 540-510-0780. Buchanan Festival of Lights – Buchanan celebrates the arrival of the Christmas season during the Illumination of the Festival of Lights on the Buchanan Town Park at 485 Lowe Street this Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. thru 8:30 p.m. This special evening will be walk-thru only and there will be free s’mores for the children, visits with Santa as well as hot beverages, soup, and petros for sale to help raise money to purchase additional lights for next year’s Festival of Lights.
