Fincastle Clothes Closet August dates
Fincastle United Methodist’s Clothes Closet will be open on Saturday, August 29, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Family Life Center at 137 S. Church Street. Donations of gently worn, clean clothing and shoes also will be accepted. Call the church office at 540-473-3001 to arrange to bring donations during office hours, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday.
Ice cream supper at Andrew Chapel
Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church will hold its annual ice cream supper on Saturday, September 5, beginning at 5 p.m. Meals include hot dogs or bratwurst with full fixings and chips. A variety of homemade ice cream and desserts will also be available. Music will be provided by Mike Lee & Friends. Proceeds benefit the church building fund. Andrew Chapel is located at 3936 Beaver Dam Road, just off Springwood Road, in Buchanan.
Troutville AOG hosting luncheon
Troutville Assembly of God is hosting a luncheon from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12. All are invited for a time of food and fellowship. The luncheon will be held at the church, 118 Conner Lane in Troutville.
