Buchanan’s first food distribution of the year is Jan.10. Food will be distributed from 9 a.m to 11 a.m. at tBuchanan Presbyterian Church, at 19559 Main Street. Anyone who needs food is welcome to come.
Community Meal Jan. 10 in Eagle Rock
The January Potluck Community Meal will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 12, at the Community Center in Eagle Rock. Area residents are invited to bring a dish and attend. If schools are closed, the potluck meal will be cancelled.
Fellowship & Comfort Lunch at Daleville Baptist
Daleville Baptist Church is holding a Fellowship & Comfort Lunch on Jan. 10 between 12- 2 p.m. Whether you are part of the church family, a neighbor, or someone looking for a new church home, the doors are open to you. There is no charge for this event.
The church especially wants to welcome anyone who has lost a loved one.
This is a time to gather, support one another, and share a meal in community, and all are encouraged to attend.

The Cloverdale Church of the Brethren Thrift Store is bringing in the New Year with lots of good deals – sweaters are only 50 cents and stuffed animals, 25 cents; for $5, shoppers can fill a bag with clothes and shoes (excludes Christmas and jewelry). All Christmas items are half off.
