Domonic “Nick” David Conover, 52, of Buchanan, formerly of Endwell, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem. Domonic battled cancer for three years.
He was born on May 31, 1972, to Patricia A. Conover and the late Larry W. Conover of Endwell, N.Y. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Emilie Rose Conover. In addition to his mother and daughter, he leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Chastity and Kenneth Cinqunti; sister, Beth Ann Solomon; brother, Walter Melzer; and girlfriend, Megan Howe.
Domonic proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Army. Upon his discharge, he trained to be a professional truck driver. He loved to drive and explore the United States. His favorite thing was spending time with his daughter. He loved the outdoors, lawn work, kayaking, country music, and being with people. Domonic has a great sense of humor that kept the laughter going wherever he went.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, 305 Roanoke Blvd., Salem. His final resting place will be with his family at the cemetery in Lounsberry, N.Y.
