Oscar Wilde’s gothic masterpiece “The Picture of Dorian Gray” continues this week at Attic Productions’ D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center. The show runs October 15-18, with Thursday and Friday performances at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday shows at 2:30 p.m.
Set in Victorian London, a young Dorian Gray becomes infatuated by the portrait that Basil Hallward has painted of him. This stage adaptation follows the dark descent of Dorian Gray, who makes a desperate, unholy wish – that he might remain forever young while his painted portrait grows old and bears the scars of his sins.
The theater is located at 7490 Roanoke Road, Fincastle. Adult tickets are $20, students 18 and under and groups of 10 or more are $15 when paid in cash or by check at the box office. Tickets may be purchased on the website at www.atticproductions.info. For questions, call the box office at 540-473-1001.
