LIVENGOOD, Linda C.

Linda Clarke Livengood, 67, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2017.

She was a loving mother and wife, a member of Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, a retired Teacher from Roanoke Catholic and William Fleming High Schools and was a devoted Educator of FBLA.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Marie Clarke; and her first husband, Michael Thomas Livengood, and is survived by husband of 10 years, Charles (Butch) Dressler; two sons and one daughter, Charles Clarke and wife, Kristie Livengood, Tonya Livengood and husband, Troy Cox, James Michael Livengood; step-daughter, Chelsea Dressler and husband, Luke Miller; six grandchildren, Caroline, Cameron, Kate Livengood, Clay, Easton, Tory Cox; and grand dog, Deacon.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 20, at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Grooms and the Rev. Warren Carswell officiating. Interment was in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to William Fleming High School, nca Linda Livengood, and mailed to Wm. Fleming High School, attn: Gwen Basham, 3649 Ferncliff Avenue, NW, Roanoke, 24017.

Arrangements by were Oakey’s East Chapel, 977-3909.
